HostFlow implements a modular design that allows applications to be distributed across multiple clients and servers. The HostFlow Manager resides at a central location.

The PICAs (Provisioning and Information Collectors Agents) run remote from the manager server and provide interfaces to various network services, for example, E-mail, hosting, etc... The PICAs are responsible for provisioning service data and collecting usage data.

This architecture simplifies integration with multiple services and allows SPs to easily introduce new services without affecting the functionality of the main server.
